Volunteer caretakers working in concert with Federal, State and local agencies to preserve equine access into the Shoshone National Forest and surrounding area, our nation's first National Forest, appropriately called the "Horse Forest."

Marty Morris once again shares some of his experiences in the backcountry, this time with a focus on wooden "strike-anywhere" matches.  With hunting season upon us, and many of you planning pack trips during these increasingly colder nights, you might want to take some precautions!  Find out what not to do in  Matches!
