Shoshone Back Country Horsemen seeks other websites who ascribe to the same values that we do, both non-profit and commercial entities. Non-profit organizations receive space on this page at no charge. Commercial organizations receive advertising space on this page for an annual fee of $100. We also seek individuals, organizations and businesses who would be willing to support Shoshone Back Country Horsemen in general or for specific projects through contributions or grants. In return we cheerfully will acknowledge your generosity on this page. Request more information on our Contact page.
A Wyoming Game and Fish Department Commissioner gave a "Commissioner's Tag" to Shoshone Back Country Horsemen in 2017 as a fund-raising opportunity to support our service activities. It was successfully auctioned for $12,500. Thanks for your generosity!
The Park County Travel Council has provided a $2,500 grant for a joint project to advertise back country trails in Park County as a premier equine destination. Our first use of these funds was a 1/4-page advertisement in the Spring 2019 national-level Back Country Horsemen of America newsletter, which will be repeated in the following edition. We also showcased the Shoshone National Forest and Shoshone Back Country Horsemen in other national-level equine magazine advertisements which appeared in March. The Spring issue of Horse & Rider magazine has our ad in their “Where to Ride Guide”, Rocky Mountain Region. Not to forget our mule fans, we featured ads in Western Mule’s March edition as well as in Mules & More’s April and May issues.
With some funds remaining, we hope to continue to increase awareness of the Shoshone Back Country Horsemen chapter and our wonderful Shoshone National Forest resource. Thanks to PCTC for your encouragement and support!
